ISO (International Standardization Organization) follows a strict set of organizational procedures for manufacturing businesses. It is recognized worldwide by international companies, ensuring proper management systems are continuously in place.

GMP - refers to the certification of Good Manufacturing Practice followed by a manufacturer.\

HACCP - Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, an internationally recognized system for ensuring that food products are safe to ingest.

ISO 22000- a standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization dealing specifically with food safety. This is a general derivative of ISO 9000.

As of January ‘04 Health Canada introduced a product licensing system for all retail natural health products. All natural health products are soon to be identified with a Natural Product Number (NPN) number. Manufacturers, packagers, labelers and importers of natural products will also be required to have licensing. UnikOrganics is currently under the process of applying for NPN numbers for all products under public distribution. All of our products will have been submitted for approval by Health Canada.
